India’s first public bicycle sharing (PBS) initiative — Trin Trin has been launched in Mysusu, on the same lines the Belagavi Smart city limited has envisaged a plan to start such a service in Belagavi as well.
For the same, they want to know the feedback from the citizens upto August 20 and hence have a made a form for the same.
Public Opinion for proposed Public Bicycle Share System in Belagavi
With an Objective to make the city more livable for its residents and desirable for the visitors, the Public Bicycle Sharing Program is to be initiated which will benefit in reducing the use of private motorized vehicles and make streets of city more walk-able, environment friendly thereby providing last mile connectivity to public transport users. Hence Belagavi Smart City Limited is keen to understand your opinion for this service. This form shall be available online till 20th August 2018.

Under the system, bicycles can be borrowed from docking stations set up across the City for a nominal fee. The users, however, have to be registered as members by paying a fee that also includes a refundable deposit and obtain a smart card by swiping which they can take out a bicycle from the docking station.
