Belagavi is set to get another 7 smart roads under the Smart city project. In the advisory meeting held yesterday, the consulting firm made a presentation on the same.
Congress road would be made as a smart road with a budget of 36 crores and the tender would be floated by this month end.
Currently Mandoli Road and KPTCL road are been made as smart roads in addition to it now Congress road, Sangolli Rayanna circle to Market Police Station, Kapileshwar Colony Road, SPM road, Mahatma Phule Road, Cantonment Vegetable market road and Shukurwar Peth are also planned to be made as Smart roads.
Before work on smart roads is begun work of all the cabling, gutter, sewage lines, water lines would be completed.
