According to officials on Saturday the level at the dam was 2173.58 ft. as against the maximum height of 2,175 ft. The dam continued to receive an inflow of 12364 cusecs. Last year the Hidkal dam was full on August 6, 2013.

The storage at the Navilteerth dam across the Malaprabha marginally improved in the last 24 hours. The level stood at 2,070.20 ft (maximum 2,079 ft).
