Incessant rains in Belgaum disrupt normal life

Normal life in Belgaum and even in the district was thrown out of gear after incessant rains hit the district. Especially from 2 PM onwards it has been pouring down heavily and even as we write this at 6 PM it is pouring heavily.
The Rakaskop has already overflown yesterday and all the rivers are swelling.
In many areas the clogged gutters caused the water to flow on the road like Nargundkar Bhave chowk, Fort Road, Shivaji Nagar etc.
This could be the highest rainfall that we have seen this monsoon in a single day.
