On Sunday a woman Pourakarmika who was on contract passed away due to COVID-19. She had tested positive and was undertaking treatment.
On Tuesday a Contractor who ensures the city is clean also succumbed to COVID 19. He was unwell and was shifted to the Civil ICU but on Tuesday morning he too passed away.
As the Pourakarmika was on contract who will pay the compensation is the big question? She used to be paid by the contractor and hence the Corporation officials have said this case would be sent to the Govt for compensation to her family.
She was working inward 31 but she did not attend work for the past week but she tested positive and passed away.
