Member of Parliament Suresh Angadi has tweeted that
Spicejet, Alliance air and StarAir will start operations from 25th February from Belagavi airport.
Star Air has already confirmed it will commence its operations from Belagavi from Feb 25 and the booking is also live.
Spicejet has got TWO routes under UDAN 3.0 – Belagavi to Mumbai and Hyderabad, it is not clear from the Tweet as to which destination Spicejet will commence operations.
AllianceAir has got PUNE route and hence the Pune route could commence on Feb 25.
Except for Star Air, booking for none of the other two operators are open yet.
I request @MyNWKRTC MD to arrange exclusive city buses for departure and arrival time to facilitate the citizens with easy movement. An official letter will also be sent to MD.
