Karnataka Administrative Tribunal bench sanctioned in June 2015 has been officially been inaugurated today.
The first hearing was done today itself on the day of its inauguration.
It was a long pending demand of the people of North Karnataka and the same has now been fulfilled with the inauguration of the KAT bench Belagavi above Pantaloons Store, on Dr. B R AMbedkar Road.
Krishna Byre Gowda, Law and Parliamentary and RDPR minister and Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal chairman Justice Bhaktavatsala inaugurated Karnataka Administrative Belagavi Bench along with that have come up at a rented building.
The Bar association had been protesting in different forms making their demand heard for the formation of KAT (Karnataka Administrative Tribunal) in Belagavi since 2015.
