The Winter Session of Karnataka Assembly was today adjourned for the day after paying rich tributes to departed leaders including former prime minister A B Vajpayee and others.
Tributes were paid to union minister Ananth Kumar, former union ministers and senior Congress leader C K Jaffer Sharief, Ambarish and other leaders.
Both the houses were adjourned for the day without transacting any business as a mark of respect to the departed leaders.
Condolence resolutions were passed – Omprakash Kanagali, N Thippeswamy, Vimalabai Deshmukh, Vishwanath Karibasappa Mamani, MP Ravindra, Babureddy Venkappa Tungala, H S Prakash, Mallappa Veerappa Setty, and M Bhaktavatsala.
