Another set of 8 Roads will be converted as Smart Roads – Auto Nagar Road, Reliance Office Road, Stadium Front Road, Stadium Back Road, Udaya School Road, Kptcl Substation Road, Kanbargi Lake Road And Kanbargi Lake Cross Road at a cost of Rs.23,14,62,000.
Already 18 roads are in the pipeline to be converted as Smart road and not even one has been completed as yet to actually get a feel of the smart roads.
The first road to be made as a smart road KPTCL road, even after 12 months is incomplete and still very unclear as to when the same would be commissioned.
Currently Mandoli Road and KPTCL road are been made as smart roads in addition to it now Congress road, Sangolli Rayanna circle to Market Police Station, Kapileshwar Colony Road, SPM road, Mahatma Phule Road, Cantonment Vegetable market road, Mandoli Road, Shukurwar Peth, Sangolli Rayanna Circle To Jijamata Chowk, Market Police Station To Circuit House Road are also planned to be made as Smart roads.
