A 10-day winter session of the Karnataka legislature will take place at the Suvarna Vidhan Soudha Belagavi from December 10 to 20, Ramesh Kumar Speaker of the Karnataka Assembly who was here to inspect the SVS and preparations said while speaking to the media.
The session could be extended for a day and the recommendation for the same has been forwarded to the government, the speaker added.
With the official announcement of the dates, the district administration is now working to make this session a success.

All hotels, lodges have been asked not to give any bookings from December 9 onwards upto December 21.
Normally all the rooms are booked in all the available lodges and hotels for the MLAs, MLCs, secretariat staff etc.
