The Govt of Karnataka, issued a notification, The services of Shri. S. Ziyaullah, IAS (KN:2008), waiting for posting are placed at the disposal of Urban Development Department for being posted with immediate effect and until further orders as Managing Director, Belagavi Smart City Limited.
This is a very good sign as there would be a full time MD for a smart city project. Untill now Corporation Commissioner was looking after it.
We hope the appointment of Ziyaullah, who was earlier the DC of Belagavi will speed up the works under Smart City limited.
