FOUR dead as Ganesh idol touches live wire
Four persons including a small girl have died and 6 were injured when the van they were carrying the Ganesh idol for immersion touched a live electrical wire overhead in Sadashiv Nagar.
One of the deceased has been identified as Prajwal Mali aged 16 years.
The accident occurred near Laxmi complex.Sources say that a live wire fell on the Ganesh idol.
This is the same Eco friendly tall idol at Sadashiv Nagar.
This is the idol which had a iron rod in the center which is said to have touched the live wire overhead
