E Rikshaw on the roads of Belagavi
Battery-operated auto rickshaws or e-rickshaw services have commenced in Belagavi city with one such Electeca Prime rikshaw on the roads.
Completely made in India, a state of art, auto shaped battery operated passenger e-rickshaw that can be recharged with normal household power supply. It is a zero maintenance, rust free, fire proof, eco-friendly product which is approved by International Centre for Automotive Technology ( ICAT ).
The Rikshaw gives a milegae of Mileage 90 – 100 Km/ full charge and has a max speed of 25 Km/Hr.
Vijay Vastard a resident of Basavan Kudachi has bough this e-rickshaw and is doing brisk business.
He is charging less than the normal auto charges a commuter said.
