Citizens put forth problems at Janta Darshan
In the first ever Janta Darshan held by the District in charge minister Ramesh Jarkhiholi on Saturday, the Residents aired their woes to the minister directly and sought relief.
The minister and DC N Jayram stood on the stage and received complaints from various people.
The grievances were related to water supply connections, borewell installations, problems at graveyards/crematoriums, bus services to rural areas, among others.
The Deputy Commissioner directed to initiate action against the promoter of an illegal layout in the city where many illegal residential buildings had come up and the residents demanding regularization of their house.
The minister said all the grievances must be redressed within four weeks by the respective departments.
