Rahul Gandhi will speak on demonetization in Belagavi
Rahul Gandhi will embark on a nationwide tour against the demonetisation move after the Winter session of Parliament ends on Friday. Fatorda in Goa will be Gandhi’s first pit-stop on Friday. The next day he will travel to Belagavi in Karnataka and then two in UP.
Preparations have started for the event at the District Stadium for the event. This is the same place where a month ago Narendra Modi spoke at the KLE Centenary celebrations.
The police will deploy almost 2000 plus men enroute and at the event premises.
Sources in the Congress say “He will be highlighting as to why people are not permitted to withdraw their own hard earned money”.
CM Siddharamaya and his colleagues from the cabinet and other central Congress leaders would also make it to the rally, sources said.
The rally would probably commence around 1 pm on Saturday December 17.
