Authorities ask for cooperation from Ganesh Mandals
In a meeting held today at the police headquarters the district administration has requested the Ganesh Mandals to co-operate with the authorities and see that the festival is passed by peacefully.
Police have asked the mandals to install CCTV cameras.
Also the need to shut the liquor shops by 8 pm was again discussed. The corporation has been asked to clean the area near the pandal each day and also mandals have been asked to keep the area clean.
