No new layouts by BUDA in last 10 years
BUDA has not developed any layout after 2006
The TOI in a story says – Due to helplessness of BELAGAVI Urban Development Authority ( BUDA ) in developing new layouts and distributing sites, poor and middle class people in city are struggling to have a shelter.
BUDA president Yuvaraj Kadam admitted the delay in implementation of projects by BUDA. “Since after Kumaraswami Layout developed around a decade ago, no other layout developed. However, the documentary process of Kanabargi project is on final stage and development work will start soon”, he said.
Development of the Kanbargi and Bhagya nagar layout is ending over 8 years now.
