Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar had visited Belgaum in 1939
On 26 December 1939 Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar visited Belgaum(now Belagavi) and in the Municipality then the First citizen Mr.Bhimrao Potdar honored Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar with a Momento.
Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar had resided at Kangral Galli for a day in 1939 and he was the guest of a family named Vastvadkar in Kangral Galli. Currently someone else resides in the same place and various organizations have asked the same to be converted into a museum.
