My Pledge A Campaign for conservation of forests & wildlife
Every year, between October 2nd and 8th, Wildlife Week is celebrated with pomp and splendor all over India. The celebrations are aimed at raising awareness among the general public about the significance of wildlife and wild habitats, and the need to conserve these precious treasures for future generations. Indeed, the celebrations have played a major role in inculcating in adults and children alike, a culture of tolerance, understanding, and compassion for the wild denizens, two-legged, four-legged and legless alike that share the planet with us!
On the same note KFD- Belagavi Forest Division in association with ‘Certified Eco Volunteers’ & support of Bhimgad Wildlife Sanctuary is conducting “My Pledge” – A Campaign for conservation of forests & wildlife for children/students of Belagavi aimed at spreading awareness on conservation of Wildlife & environment. This campaign will be open from 1st – 7th Oct 2015.
