Parirkar interacts twice with industrialists presses for make in India
Manohar Parirkar interacted with various industrialists and businessmen on two occasions one at Foundry cluster which was organised by Lokmanya group and Foundry cluster and the second one was organised by former MLA Abhay Patil at the KLE Convention centre.

Parirkar interacted with existing and prospective entrepreneurs and stressed the need to adopt the “Make in India” programme initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the Union government had taken several steps to simplify rules and regulations to attract investments in various industrial activities.
He also took time out to view the products manufactured by the city-based Servocontrols Aerospace (I) Pvt. Ltd., a company which supplied ‘Position Sensors’ used in the space mission (Mangalayaana) last year. Managing Director of the company Deepak V. Dhadoti highlighted the potential of Belagavi for investments, particularly in the defence manufacturing sector.
Parirkar said, “his ministry would give ample ample opportunities for industrialists to be a part of making defense equipments and make the nation self reliant.”
It must be recalled that Manohar Parirkar has a old bonding with Belagavi and in his early days before he completed his IIT and he was dealing in welding products he used to visit Belagavi atleast twice a week on his scooter and used to meet many industrial units here.
