Every day, drivers die in road collisions. Many die as a consequence of inexperience, speeding intoxication through drink or drugs or just plain recklessness. The majority of road crashes are caused by human error.
The Rotary Club of Belgaum has launched a novel project “Wide Rider” which aims to educate the youth and the citizens of Belagavi about Road safety and Traffic Awareness.
The event was officially launched today the IMER hall in the presence of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Anupam Agarwal and Dist.Governor RI Dist.3170 Shirnivas Malu.
This is a project which will emphasize on road safety and traffic awarenees amongst the youth using the medium they use the most like social media, Whats app along with street plays, classrooms seminars in various colleges, Hoardings and other events.
This is not a single project but a project to create a new “Wise Rider” in the city of Belagavi.
This is a very novel project by the Rotary and AAB wishes to contribute its bit to the society by spreading the awareness.
So each time you are on the road always be a “Wise Rider”.
