Fort lake to have the Largest Flag post
A 200-ft tall flag post at the mini island within the fort lake at the entrance of the city has been planned and the same was told to reporters on Sunday by MLA Feroz Saith who inspected all th developmental works in his constituency.
Mr. Sait said a proposal had been sent to the government and an approval was expected soon. Details of the project would be worked out once the government gave a green signal. To a question, he said steps would be take to observe the protocol for hoisting and un-hoisting the national flag.
The fort lake will soon see the musical fountain and laser show in a months time. Saith inspected the construction of the sports complex at Hanuman nagar and also the Glass house built at a cost of rs.35 lakhs at Hanuman temple premises.
An amusement park is also on the anvil at Hanuman Nagar at cost of 1.75 crore. Road widening of Bauxite road also has been taken up at 740 lakhs. MalMaruti extension will also house a laser tek park.
