The mother who took care of the homeless and the destitutes, Yvonne Lomax (68) passed away this noon.
When everyone leaves them to die, we had one caring hand who took care of the destitutes as her own siblings, it was Yvonne Lomax who ran a destitute home, “Home for Homeless” in Ganeshpur, Belagavi.
She breathed her last at KLE hospital this noon.
Yvonne Lomax was born in Madurai and her father was in the army and hence traveled a lot and she completed her SSLC from St. Joesph’s Convent Belgaum in 1966.
She is survived by her daughter Nadeen Lomax and 2 brother’s 1Col. Oliver Tims 2. Marcus Tims and one sister Penelope Hukkeri.
