Yarmal road residents’ nightmare of water logging
Since half a decade the residents’ of Yarmal Road, Vadagaon are facing this issue of water logging and water entering their houses but all their demands have fallen on a deaf ear.
Contaminated water from the drains gets clogged and then enters the homes and each house has its additional duty of storing their valuables on a height when the monsoon starts.
With the drainage water seeping into the houses is also causing health issues for the residents.
Residents there allege this is the same story each year and no one is bothered to find a permanent solution to this problem.
The day begins for a few with the removal of drainage water from the house. Due to the water logging health related issues and breeding of mosquitoes is very high.
