Tiger scare in VTU Campus Belagavi
A Tiger was spotted in VTU Campus in Belagavi and the forest officials have confirmed that the foot marks belong to a Tiger.
But this tiger is not the maneater recently released into the Bhimgad sanctuary. That tiger is somewhere in Goan Territory as per sources.
A third semester student of MCA at VTU, Shivaraj Adeppa Hugar spotted a tiger near the tennis court of the campus hostel at 7.30 am.
The entire VTU campus has been evacuated and the search is on.
Last week a leopard was sighted in Rani Chennamma University campus Bhutramatti.
