Mohan Basavaraja Desai, veteran freedom fighter and founding editor of Kannada weekly Darshana and later converted it into a daily Loka Darshana, Belgaum. He has served as an Editor for 50 years in Kannada journalism.
He also has many other accolades to his name.
He has been awarded the Rajostav award for the 2014 for his contribution to the field of Journalism.
